A 12 month warranty applies to all light fixtures and table/floorstand that are used in an internal household application. This warranty covers defect of finish or electrical components. It does not cover light globes that come complete with light fixtures supplied by Cougar Lighting. This warranty is only valid upon proof of installation by a licensed electrician and that the light fixtures have not been misused or used in an inappropriate situation that the fitting in question was not designed for. A 2 year warranty applies to all 12Volt Halogen spotlight fixtures that are used in an internal household application. This warranty covers defect of finish or electrical components, included electronic transformers supplied with fitting by Cougar Lighting. It does not cover light globes that come complete with these fittings. This warranty is only valid upon proof of installation by a licensed electrician and that the light fixtures have not been misused or used in an inappropriate situation that the fitting in question was not designed for. A 3 year warranty applies to all LED Table lamps and lighting fixtures that are used in an internal household application. This warranty covers defect of finish or electrical components, included electronic converters supplied with fitting by Cougar Lighting. This warranty is only valid upon proof of installation by a licensed electrician and that the light fixtures have not been misused or used in an inappropriate situation that the fitting in question was not designed for. A 1 year warranty applies to all LED Table lamps and lighting fixtures that are used in a comercial application. This warranty covers defect of finish or electrical components, included electronic converters supplied with fitting by Cougar Lighting. This warranty is only valid upon proof of installation by a licensed electrician and that the light fixtures have not been misused or used in an inappropriate situation that the fitting in question was not designed for. A 2 year warranty applies to all Cougar Lighting external light fixtures that are used in an external household application. This warranty covers defect of finish or electrical components. It does not cover light globes that come complete with fittings supplied by Cougar Lighting. This warranty is only valid upon proof of installation by a licensed electrician and that the light fixtures have not been misused or used in an inappropriate situation that the fitting in question was not designed for. In reference to external light fixtures made in 304 & 316 Stainless Steel the following applies; A 2 year warranty for 304 Stainless Steel will apply as long as the light fixture is not located any closer than 1km to either salt water or salt mining. The fixture as well must be regularly cleaned to maintain its finish. All wall and undereave fixtures unwashed by rain water should be cleaned 3-4 times a year. Tea staining is a natural process that may happen to 304 Stainless steel fixtures if not cleaned regularly. A 2 year warranty for 316 Stainless Steel will apply as long as the light fixture is not located any closer than 50m from salt water or salt mining. The fixture as well must be regularly cleaned to maintain its finish. All wall and undereave fixtures unwashed by rain water should be cleaned 3-4 times a year. Tea staining is a natural process that may happen to 316 Stainless steel fixtures if not cleaned regularly. Cougar’s liability during the warranty periods is to repair or replace faulty components or complete fittings without charge as long as returned to the place of purchase, with proof of purchase, and proof of installation by licensed electrician. Cougar will not be liable for re- installation charges unless previously approved in writing by Cougar.
